The Past 1 1/2 Years in a Nutshell

This post is going to feel a lot like a Christmas Card, but I want to do a real quick catch-up of the last year and a half before I really get back into blogging again. This is going to be very, very brief. If you have any questions about any of this, please leave them in the comments or email me because I would be happy to fill in any details. Since I last updated:

  • We finished up our 2nd year of law school. This includes: Tayler making Law Review and becoming the Managing Editor of Law Review (2nd in command)=very busy; Kayla babysitting two very cute little girls a few days a week and getting called as 2nd counselor in the Primary presidency; Luke starting Sunbeams; and Eli learning to walk!
  • We moved to Washington DC in May of 2012 for a summer internship with Williams & Connolly law firm. We lived in Silver Spring, MD which is about 3 miles from the Washington DC Temple, and thoroughly enjoyed living the DC life for a few months. We rode the metro, went to a few Nationals' MLB games, saw the sites, went to Philadelphia and Gettysburg, saw the "How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular", etc. etc. etc. It was quite the experience.
  • We took two trips to Idaho, one in May and one in August. We always enjoy seeing our family, and the boys get more and more spoiled every time we go. Both of these trips, I flew with the boys by myself, which was quite the accomplishment, and Tayler joined us later in August so that we could drive my parents' mini van, which they gave to us, back to Charlottesville. We have loved it!
  • We moved back to Charlottesville, VA and began our 3rd year of law school. Tayler got called to teach early morning Seminary, which has been a blessing to our family. We went to Outer Banks, NC during fall break with a bunch of other law families from our ward, and we had a blast! We rented two beach houses for a week, cooked meals together, and played on the beach. So fun!We also got to fly back to Idaho for Christmas.
  • Now for some of my favorite pictures from the last year and a half. Enjoy!

Our trip to Outer Banks during Fall Break 2012. So fun!

A New Start

The Tibbitts are still alive!

The boys are growing, life is changing, and we are loving every minute of it. With all of the growing and changing, I decided it was time for a new blog. Having a private blog is great, but I miss the perks that come with having a public blog, like blog roll updates and such, so we are beginning again. With this fresh start, I will do my best to update and post more frequently, so that you can see all the growth and changes that we Tibbitts are fortunate to live through.

Thank you in advance for taking part in our lives.
